Cunninghame Enterprises

Cunninghame Enterprises is a wholly owned subsidiary company of Cunninghame Housing Association Limited and is registered under the Companies Act 1985 and 1989 as a company limited by guarantee and having no share capital.

Formed in March 2007 following the Association’s decision to register as a Scottish Charity, Cunninghame Enterprises operates in trading and commercial areas which are not allowed to be undertaken by its parent company under charitable rules and law. This company is therefore responsible for the administration of the Factoring Services previously carried out by Cunninghame Housing Association.

Cunninghame Enterprises has its own separate board of Management and they meet on a quarterly basis. The board of Management are responsible for directing the business of Cunninghame Enterprises, determining policy, setting service standards and monitoring performance

The board of Management is drawn from both its parent company and external appointments such as owner occupiers and sharing owners who are part of our factoring service.

Cunninghame Enterprises will continue to develop and over the next few years will assess opportunities to increase both its range of services and diversify its income stream and cost base.
