Accessibility
Cunninghame Housing Association is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines such as The Disability Discrimination Act 1995:
- Our pages are designed so that they can be viewed at a screen resolution of 800 x 600 pixels.
- Page structure is conveyed using header elements.
- A stylesheet is used on our website and relative font sizes on all text with the exception of graphical text.
- Text can be increased or decreased in size by using the "view" option in your browser (see below for instructions).
- Images that convey important information have alternative text. Where an image is used for a decorative purpose the alternative text will be left blank.
- No essential information is exclusively conveyed using graphics.
- A Site Map is available to provide information about the layout of the website.
This site has been built using code compliant with W3C standards for XHTML and CSS. The site displays correctly in current browsers and using standards compliant XHTML/CSS code means any future browsers will also display it correctly.
Whilst the Association strive to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website.”
We are continually seeking out solutions that will bring all areas of the site up to the same level of overall accessibility. In the meantime should you experience any difficulty in accessing the Cunninghame Housing Association web site, please don’t hesitate to Contact Us.

Click on the 'OK' button on this tab and then on the 'OK' button on the Internet Options tab.

Go to the Tools menu, select Options, open the General menu and select Fonts and colours. Here you can change the text colour as well as the type of font.

Portable Document Format (PDF) documents
We have made every effort to make our PDFs as accessible as possible, using bookmarks to aid navigation and tags to allow people using screen readers to access the content. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to be able to view a publication in PDF format. If you don't have Acrobat Reader, you can download the Adobe Acrobat Viewer for free.
It is possible to have a PDF converted to html by Adobe on their website – please visit go to Adobe Conversion Tools. To use this facility, navigate to the document on our website that you want to convert, click on it and copy the URL from the address bar at the top of your browser into the form. Although this type of conversion may be useful for some users, we cannot guarantee that documents will convert to html without problems.
