Home Security

The issue of home security is given a high priority by Care & Repair.

It is not only important that a property is secure but also that the person living in the house feels safe and secure within their home.

Care & Repair offer all clients a home security visit carried out by Strathclyde Police. The Police will visit the clients home and carry out a home security check that will highlight any areas of security that may be improved upon. General information will be provided to the client during the visit on issues of home security and in particular in relation to bogus callers offering to carry out work.

Following on from the visit the Police will notify Care & Repair of the issues identified where home security could be improved. In most instances improvements relate to the installation of external lights or improvements to window and door security.

Care & Repair will notify the client of the recommendations and following agreement from the client Care & Repair will arrange for contractors to visit and carry out the necessary works.

In most instances the cost of the installation of home security measures is carried out at no cost to the client.
