A key aspect of the H.R. role within the organisation is to ensure that CHA has the right people with the right skills, in the right place at the right time and then developing the right structures and balance of motivation and reward to retain them.
Recruitment and selection is an important part of our work and vacancies can be accessed by clicking on the Vacancies link. Success is achieved through a combination of developing our own people ‘growing our own’ and the recruitment of new people into the organisation. This blend helps to create an organisation that is energised and forward thinking.
The HR function provides a generalist service to meet the needs of the business including providing advice, guidance and support to the staff and voluntary Management Committee Members regarding employment matters, coordinating the organisation wide programme of learning events, staff conferences, staff and committee Away Days and driving initiatives such as Investors in People – Accreditations
