Donaldson Avenue, Saltcoats

The Association acquired this site in March 2006 from RDK Construction.  The former derelict commercial premises and adjoining land which comprised the site were ideally suited for redevelopment and following site clearance, the Association entered into a Design & Build contract with RDK Construction to build a total of 18 flats and houses for rent.  A site start was achieved on 11 September 2006 with a contract period of 52 weeks.  The project was completed in October 2007 within the agreed programme and budget.

The Association appointed JR Queenan as the Employer’s Agents and CDM (Scotland) Ltd provided the CDM Co-ordinator role for this project.
