Sharphill, Saltcoats

The Association acquired this site from North Ayrshire Council in March 2005. Our Development will be delivered over three phases and will provide the following:

• Phase 1 – 29 units for rent

• Phase 2 – 34 units for rent

• Phase 3 – 24 units for homestake (provisional)

Phase 1 of this development commenced on site on 17 September 2007 and the contractor D McLaughlin & Son achieved a site start on Phase 2 in February 2008.

We are working in partnership with our regeneration unit and North Ayrshire Council Community Learning & Development to explore the potential for the development of a youth club located in close proximity to our development site.  This youth club will assist in addressing the lack of youth facilities available in this area of Saltcoats.

The Association appointed Armour Construction Consultants as Employer’s Agents and CDM Co-ordinator for this project.
