Vineburgh, Irvine
The Association was delighted to be appointed in April 2007 as the Lead Developer for the delivery of the Vineburgh Regeneration proposals. This significant project will deliver approximately 300 affordable new homes and be developed over 4 phases. Approximately 200 new rented houses will be provided over phases 1 to 3. Since our appointment, a selection panel has been formed to facilitate the appointment of the design team. Members of the selection panel included representatives from NAC, CS, Strathclyde Police and the Vineburgh community. Following a robust assessment and interview process for the Architectural appointment, we are pleased to have MAST Architects on board as the Vineburgh Project Architects.
Phase 1 will provide a total of 81 units; 74 for rent and 7 for sale on a homestake basis. The Association appointed the following Design Team for Phase 1 of this project:
- MAST – Project Architect
- TBA – Quantity Surveyors
- TBA – Structural Engineers
Once the design team is fully appointed we will agree a programme for Phase 1 of the works which will facilitate tender approval being achieved by March 2009.
- Phase 2 will provide 104 properties (86 for rent and 18 for sale on a homestake basis).
- Phase 3 will provide 73 (45 for rent and 28 for sale on a homestake basis).
- Phase 4 will fully comprise housing for sale by the successful private developer.
