Local Authorities have a statutory obligation to provide advice and support to anyone threatened with homelessness.  Information can be accessed by clicking on both Local Authority sites below (the below Authorities cover the areas of operation of the Association):

Making contact with your Local Authority

During office hours you will require to contact your local Housing Office, these numbers can be found on the housing pages of your local authority website. 

If you are contacting out of office hours please telephone North Ayrshire Council Homeless Standby on Tel: 0800 0196500 or East Ayrshire Council 24 hour emergency telephone number on Tel: 0845 724 0000.

 If you require immediate accommodation?

Your Local Authority will assess your circumstances and offer appropriate accommodation which if within North Ayrshire may be Victoria House.
