How much does it cost to stay at Victoria House

The main accommodation costs are funded through Supporting People grant from North Ayrshire Council and individual Housing Benefit claims.  If you are entitled to full housing benefit, the only cost you will have during your stay is £1 per day, per room for facilities, this is explained in the welcome pack.

Tenancy Support Services

When you move on to your own tenancy your agreed housing support plan can be transferred to your new landlord to allow them to assess your ongoing housing support needs. 

If you are allocated a Cunninghame Housing Association tenancy, your housing support plan will move with you and you will be offered support in your new tenancy.

What type of support will I receive from the Victoria House Housing Support Staff?

You will receive the following support from the Victoria House housing support staff if you are a  new tenant of Cunninghame Housing Association, assistance to:

• Maximising benefits
• Completion of CCG claims 
• Access gas and electric supplies
• Access furniture
• Access GPs
• Access schools
• Access colleges
• Access to training and employment
• Addiction agencies
• External housing support agencies
• Community groups within your area
• Budgeting
• Encourage good door keeping skills, etc
