Cunninghame Furniture Recycling Company - Employment Opportunities
Cunninghame Furniture Recycling Company (CFRC) is a subsidiary company of the award winning registered social landlord Cunninghame Housing Association. CFRC was established to find new homes for unwanted furniture across Ayrshire and generate job and training opportunities for local residents.
CFRC has been awarded funding from the Scottish Government’s Social Economy Growth Fund to help extend the reach of our furniture collection and household furnishing services more effectively throughout Ayrshire.
We are currently recruiting for the following position to be based within our furniture showroom in Irvine:-
The postholder will be responsible for marketing and promoting CFRC effectively to households, local authorities, businesses and other partner agencies in order to generate an increased supply of donated furniture and white goods. The postholder will be tasked with assisting CFRC to increase donations from East and South Ayrshire in particular as well as sustaining current sources of supply from North Ayrshire. The postholder will also oversee the operation of CFRC’s vehicle fleet to ensure marketing and promotion activity is translated into effective collection of furniture donations.
Applications are sought from self-motivated individuals with a proven track record in marketing and promotion and/or experience of working in a sales environment. You should also have experience of line managing / supervising staff and be comfortable with using a range of marketing mediums including social media.
