Saltcoats Sea Queen and Captain

Representative from the Saltcoats Gala Committee were presented with a cheque in the amount of £1,000 from the Chief Executive and Vice-Chairperson of Cunninghame Housing Association (CHA) on Wednesday 18 June 2008.

Isabella Salvona, Chairperson, of the Gala Committee said: “The donation from one of the main sponsors, Cunninghame Housing Association, secured the future of the Gala and allowed plans to progress for the main event in July.”  In closing, Isabella thanked the Management Committee of CHA for their donation and their continued support.”

Frank Sweeney, Chief Executive of Cunninghame Housing Association stated: “Accepting our corporate responsibility, the Association actively looks to give its financial support to local projects/initiatives that give benefit and added value to the community.  The Saltcoats Gala does just that.  Having given our financial support over the last two years our Voluntary Board of Management are again delighted to be able to support this excellent local event.”
