The Moffat Enterprise Centre

In 2002 Cunninghame Housing Association and One Plus worked in partnership to create a new Child and Family Centre aimed at providing Three Towns residents with affordable and flexible childcare. In February 2007, following the demise of One Plus, the Centre was returned to the Association for re-use.

In Autumn 2007, following an options appraisal, the Association secured permission from funders to convert the building as an Enterprise Centre with office and meeting space for small and medium sized businesses.

"The new rebranded Moffat Enterprise Centre will therefore play a role in enabling the creation, attraction and retention of economic activity within Ardrossan town centre. "

Cunninghame Housing Association expect that the 520 sqm of training and business facilities provided for small businesses and social enterprises will house jobs for up to 15 local people by Spring 2008.

Tenant Directory

The anchor tenant in the new facility is Busy Bees Nursery who moved in on 8 November 2007. The venture will allow Busy Bees Nursery to expand services within the area, enabling the reintroduction of valuable childcare provision within the facility with some 50+ places being available for local children.

• Think? Retail – a local shop fitting business
• Infotology Ltd – a local IT business dealing with marine computer systems
• Power of Touch Ltd - reflexology and alternative therapy practitioners

Approach Ardrossan via A78 from North or South. Follow signs for Arran Ferry. Continue down Glasgow Street for 250 yards. The Moffat Enterprise Centre is located on the right hand side set back off the main street with car parking space to the front.

By Train
The Moffat Enterprise Centre is located half a mile from Ardrossan Town Rail Station.
