Challenge Poverty Week Mattress Campaign

As part of Challenge Poverty Week, CHA would like to focus on Children and ensure that children aged 21yrs or below living within our homes have a suitable mattress to sleep on. We’d like to include children who either don’t have a mattress, or sleep on a substandard mattress due to a health condition or other reason.

To do this, we need to gather some information which will be treated with the strictest confidence. The Association are currently exploring numbers to establish if we could provide the required mattresses FREE OF CHARGE from our subsidiary company Cunninghame Furniture Recycling Company(CFRC).

Mattresses provided will be from reused stock and are fully compliant, cleaned & sanitised. We would like to ensure that all children within our tenancies have a suitable mattress to sleep on and will respond by text as soon as we can with an update.

In the Meantime, you can complete our short form at the bottom of the page to let us know your current situation.

You can also check out our video on how mattresses are cleaned and treated for reuse by CFRC’s award winning mattress project.
