FRANK SWEENEY

GROUP CHIEF EXECUTIVE

A Master of Business Administration, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing and an affiliate of the Institute of Risk Management, Frank has been Director and then Group Chief Executive of Cunninghame Housing Association since 1990. Prior to that he held several senior positions within the Housing Association sector.

Since 1990 he has with this Board of Management, led Cunninghame Housing Association (then with 145 properties) to continuous success and it is now regarded as one of the leading housing associations and social enterprises in Ayrshire with over 2800 properties in management, two subsidiary companies (Citrus Energy Ltd and Cunninghame Furniture Recycling Company) and a turnover of £15m per annum.

In March 2015 Frank became the first housing association Chief Executive to win the Institute of Director Scotland’s Third Sector Director of the Year Award. This was followed up by receiving the highly commended award at the Institute of Directors UK Awards in the Third Sector category in October 2015.

At the prestigious Chartered Institute of Housing (Scotland) Awards held in November 2016 he received the award for “Exceptional contribution by a CIH member by a CIH Member Excellence Award”.

The award highlighted the outstanding professional achievement and individual personal contribution by a CIH member working in the housing industry.

At the awards ceremony, it was announced that this was the first time ever in this award category that the recipient had scored the maximum perfect 10 in all of the award criteria from all of the judges.

Frank was also awarded the CIH Scotland Housing Award for Excellence in Leadership in 2022. This prestigious individual award recognises his leadership of the Association over the last 32 years.

LINDA ANDERSON

ACTING CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT SERVICES

Linda commenced employment with the Association in April 1990 as a Development Officer. A chartered member of the Institute of Housing (C.I.H.C.M) and holder of the Diploma in Housing Studies she has over the past 29 years played a key part in the remarkable growth of Cunninghame Housing Association.

Linda’s success has been achieved not only through a strong and successful programme of new build housing but also via stock transfers from both Scottish Homes and North Ayrshire Council where she was responsible for the planning and delivery of work pledged to transferred tenants in order to improve the condition of the transferred stock.

Linda is highly skilled in managing large staff teams and budgets which has delivered both our new build development activities and our associated relationship management with Local Authority and Scottish Government key stakeholders.

Jacqueline Cameron

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF HOUSING AND PROPERTY SERVICES

A passionate housing leader with experience in developing, delivering and transforming housing services, Jacqueline joined Cunninghame Housing Association in January 2022. Prior to this she worked in local government for 19 years, holding various senior housing positions.

Jacqueline has a Masters’ Degree in Housing Studies, achieved with Merit at the University of Glasgow in 2011 following attainment of the CIH Level 4 Diploma in Housing with Distinction, and being awarded ‘Ayrshire Management Student of the Year’ in 2007.

Jacqueline has vast experience in strategic planning, operational service delivery, tenant engagement and project and budget management, with a key focus on innovation. Committed to making a difference in the lives of customers and communities, she looks to put people at the core of decision making and service growth.
