We are delighted to announce that the Making Our Communities Better Places Fund will be reopening for applications on 1st September 2025.

For the past 25 years, the Fund has supported charities, community groups and individuals across North Ayrshire, East Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway. In that time, more than £200,000 has been awarded to over 140 local groups and individuals, helping to deliver projects that make a real difference in people’s lives.

In just the last five years alone, the Fund has provided over £150,000 in grants, with an average award of £1,078. From vital equipment to new activities, this support has helped communities to thrive and grow stronger together.

As we prepare for the next round of funding, we’re inviting you to register your interest today. By doing so, you’ll be the first to receive updates and reminders when the application process officially opens on 1st September 2025.
