Tenancy Agreement

At the start of your tenancy you will sign a Scottish Secure Tenancy Agreement.

This is a legal document detailing your rights and responsibilities as a tenant, or joint tenant.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pay your rent and any service charges for your home
  • Occupy the property as your main residence
  • Look after and decorate your home
  • Report repairs as they happen
  • Allow access for repairs and maintenance
  • Ask permission before you make changes to your home
  • Be a good neighbour and respect others
  • Give us 28 days notice before moving out
  • Let us know if anyone moves into your home
  • Let us know if anyone moves out of your home

OUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure your home is fit for you to live in and provides a warm safe environment
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance in agreed timescales
  • Consult with you on any proposed changes that may affect the service we deliver. This includes annual rent increases
  • Provide you with information on our policies and procedures
