Warm Home Discount For Electricity

Warm Homes Discount is a benefit some people may qualify for as part of the broader group of people who qualify for £140 each year. It is credited to your electricity account by your supplier.

If you are in receipt of a means tested benefit or PIP/DLA/Attendance Allowance AND your income is less than £16,120 per year then you should look out for your electricity supplier opening their applications for Warm Homes Discount.

Utilita’s applications have now closed but Scottish Power and Eon are now open for applications. SSE are open for registering an interest.

Pensioners on pension credits are awarded this without application but all people in the broader group must apply for it every year.

If you have been awarded it previously you MUST apply every year. It will not come automatically.

This is the general qualifying criteria for applications.
