If you get SCP your weekly pay will rise to £25 every week, do not reapply.
Children under the age of 16 can get this from 14th November. You will need to apply for each child under 16 who is not receiving the money. The pay will be back dated to the date you applied.
You can apply whether you work or not, as long as you’re getting one or more of these benefits –
- Universal Credit
- Child Tax Credit
- Income Support
- Pension Credit
- Working Tax Credit
- Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
