The third and final cost of living payment will be paid between 6th February and 22nd February 2024.
You must have been entitled to any of the below benefits for period 13th November 2023 to 12th December 2023.
- Child Tax Credits
- Income Support
- Income-based jobseeker’s allowance
- Income related employment and support allowance
- Pension Credit
- Universal Credit – unless your Universal Credit was £0 for the entire period between 13 November 2023 to 12 December 2023. This is called a ‘nil award’ and can happen where you or your partner’s income increases, you start getting another benefit or you get paid more than one set of wages within that period.
- Working Tax Credits
Payments are automatic and you do not need to apply.
No further support payments have been announced. However, DWP have confirmed that most working age benefits, including Universal Credit, will rise by 6.7% from April 2024.
