Cunninghame Housing Association is the first Housing Association in Scotland (with more than 50 employees) to be awarded Investors in People Platinum, Investors in Young People Gold Accreditation and Investors in People Health & Wellbeing Good Practice Award.  We have more than 3400 properties in North and East Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway and we continue to deliver new homes as part of our ongoing development programme  and commitment to “Making our Communities Better Places”.  We are looking to recruit highly motivated individual to join our Fuel Poverty Energy Advisors Team which will focus on reducing home energy fuel poverty amongst domestic energy users throughout the region on behalf of our partner We are looking to recruit the following position:

POST: Fuel Poverty Energy Advisor

SALARY: £26,419 Per Annum (Pro Rata)

Hours Per Week: SIX MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5PM, 4:30pm on a friday 

Thanks to a successful application to the Social Housing Fuel Support Fund, 4 Registered Social Landlords, Ayrshire Housing, Riverside Scotland, Atrium Homes and Shire Housing have been awarded funding to provide advice to domestic home energy users to contribute to the delivery of a fuel poverty energy support service by carrying out home visits and undertaking a range of tasks including gathering of information in relation to energy use and cost, providing a comprehensive service to customers who call through to the Associations Fuel Poverty freephone number and require help and advice on fuel debt, benefit claims, income maximisation, advice on fuel tariffs, payment options and assistance with Fuel Poverty Grant Application forms and energy efficiency measures

The Association are seeking an individual who is self-motivated, driven, and flexible to work within our Lemon Aid Fuel Poverty Advisory Service. Full training will be provided and the successful candidate will be assisted in attaining a recognised City and Guilds qualification.
