Garden & Common Area Maintenance
We regularly care for gardens, lawns, paths, and other shared outdoor areas to keep them safe, tidy, and enjoyable for everyone. This includes grass cutting, hedge trimming, weed control, and general upkeep.
To help our team carry out this work, we ask that: Gardens are accessible and litter/dog waste is removed in advance.
When will we visit?

Stock Condition Survey
As a social landlord, to ensure our properties comply with the Scottish Housing Quality Standard, and to assist in maintaining our properties in a satisfactory condition the Association aim require to carry out a 5-year cyclical survey of your home.
This survey is required to determine when the building components such as windows and kitchens may require to be replaced. Even if you have had building components renewed, we are still required to carry out this survey.
Safety Inspections
These inspections are a legal requirement and help protect you, your family and your neighbours. In rare cases where access cannot be arranged after repeated attempts, we may need to take further action to gain entry so that essential safety checks can be completed.
We always want to avoid this and will work with you to arrange a convenient appointment. The following home components will be checked by the Association:
- Gas Boiler – Yearly or sooner
- Electrical Safety Checks – Every 5 years
- Smoke Detectors – Yearly or sooner
- Extractor Fans – In line with manufacturer guidelines
- Fire Doors – Periodically
- Stair Lifts – Yearly
