Remaining Post Office card account users to be moved to Payment Exception Service from end of August 2021.
All remaining Post Office card account customers who are unable to manage or use a mainstream bank or similar account will be moved to the voucher-based Payment Exception Service from the end of August 2021.
Following the decision notified in 2019 to discontinue the Post Office card system, the DWP has written to claimants with card accounts to request alternative account details ahead of the end of the Post Office card account contract in November 2021
