Welcome to your new home

This page is here to help you get started, with everything you need to know about paying your rent, managing energy costs, and where to turn for support. You’ll also find useful contacts for local services and your Housing Officer.

Take a moment to explore the information below — we’re here to help every step of the way.

We will be in touch to arrange a settling in visit

Four weeks after your tenancy starts, your Housing Officer will arrange to visit you at home. This visit is a chance for us to get to know you better and explain in more detail the information we provided when you signed your tenancy agreement. It is also another opportunity to discuss any issues you may have with your rent payments, benefit claims, or neighbour issues in person.

Ways to Pay Your Rent

It is important that all tenants pay their rent on time. We use the rent money we collect to deliver the services we provide – like our repairs service, making planned improvements to your home and maintaining estates.

Cunninghame Furniture Recycling

Cunninghame Furniture Recycling Company provide quality reuse furniture and mattresses at discounted rates. They also offer free collections of reusable items. All Cunninghame tenants receive 10% on reuse items.

Your Financial Wellbeing

Our Financial Wellbeing Officer can help you with a range of financial queries such as: Applying for benefits, debt advice, budgeting your income, maximising income, basic bank account, low cost loans and so much more.

Lemon Aid Energy Advice

Our energy advice service, Lemon Aid, can help you reduce or clear your fuel debt, get back on supply, and even deal with your energy suppliers on your behalf if you’re struggling with your gas and electricity bills.

Council Tax

The amount of council tax you pay can be reduced by applying for a Council Tax Reduction (and other discounts) from your Local Authority. Your Housing Officer can help you with this.
