Janet Strang, Chairperson of Cunninghame Housing Association recently presented a cheque for £740 to representatives of the Ardrossan Indoor Bowling Club (AIBC).
Ardrossan Indoor Bowling Club is a facility which comprises of a seven lane/rink indoor bowling green and a function suite. The green is the only such facility within North Ayrshire and therefore is utilised by people of all ages, genders and abilities/capabilities from Ardrossan, Saltcoats and Stevenston as well as the wider community within North Ayrshire and beyond.
The Bowling Club is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, involving both past and present members.
The funding provided by Cunninghame Housing Association provided financial assistance to support this momentous occasion.
The funding for Ardrossan Indoor Bowling Club came from the Associations “Making Our Communities a Better Place Fund” which operates throughout the year (1st April 2021 to 31st March) until the allocated funding is exhausted.
