A £650 ‘cost of living’ payment will be made to households in receipt of certain benefits this summer. The payment will be made in two instalments. The eligibility date for the first instalment was 25 May 2022, and payment will be received during the last two weeks of July. The eligibility date and payment dates of the second instalment have still to be confirmed but are expected to be in autumn.
