The new homes, known as St Michael’s Gardens, have been built on the plot of St Michael’s Church. The church was torn down in 2017 to make way for the new homes. The Association bought the land in March 2018
The Association has 22 new homes for rent. Works started on-site on 18th November 2019. All new homes were finished in March 2021.

22 new houses built by Ashleigh Building Ltd for rent have been built to meet a range of housing needs.
The total project cost £3.5m. The homes were delivered in with the Scottish Government and East Ayrshire Council. The Scottish Government gave a total of £1.926m in Housing Association Grant towards the project.
