The site was purchased by the Association on 24 March 2021 and will provide a total of 72 new homes for rent.
Work was scheduled to start on site by the end of April 2021 with a contract period of 95 weeks to complete the project, resulting in a proposed handover date of July 2022.
The Association has appointed McTaggart Construction as their Design & Build contractor.
The new homes will provide a mix of general needs family housing as well as bungalows designed for elderly people and those with particular housing needs.
Work commenced on site on 12 April 2021, with overall completion date was March 2023.
