On Monday 16th January 2023, Lesley Keenan, Chairperson of Cunninghame Housing Association presented a cheque for £400 to Tass 2015 players and Coaches.
Tass Thistle FC is a community club which was established in 1984 and have team members ranging from 5 – 16 years old, with both boys and girls representing in Local Leagues and Cups. The 2015 Tass Thistle Team needed some support to assist with the purchase of new training kits. The team carries out their own fundraising where they can however this proves to be more and more difficult given the current climate.
The Association provided financial support to the 2015 team to assist with the purchase of new training kits for the young players, alleviating the financial burden for the Club and the parents. The young players train twice a week and play most weekends therefore the kits will prove very useful.
The funding for Tass Thistle Football Club 2015’s came from the Associations “Making Our Communities Better Places Fund” which operates throughout the year (1st April to 31st March) until the allocated funding is exhausted.
The Association are pleased to support Tass Thistle Football Club 2015’s which encourages young people to stay fit and healthy whilst teaching them how to work as a team and build social skills.
